I was on of the most fortunate individuals to have been exposed to chiropractic at an early age and then to go on and eventually became the first official Team Chiropractor for the Boston Red Sox.  I had hurt my back while attending St. John's Prep High School in Danvers. I was an avid tennis, basketball and baseball player and was unable to play sports due to my back pain. I was treated by several medical doctors and physical therapists with no relief of my symptoms.... read more»

I got interested in chiropractic from having remarkable success co-treating patients with local doctors when I was a massage therapist in Denver. I spent over a decade in Colorado working as a regionally respected neuro-muscular therapist; and it was there that I developed a real passion for the healing power of manual medicine.  I have always held interest in living systems and.... read more»

Dr. Christina Seibert

Downtown Boston Chiropractor Dr. Christina Seibert

For as long as I can remember, I have known that I wanted a career in healthcare. My grandfather was a chiropractor, my mother a nurse, and my father a periodontist – so I was able to witness firsthand the immense joy and pride that healthcare practitioners could feel in helping their patients. For me the choice to pursue a chiropractic career was a natural one once I saw the drastic improvement individuals could receive both in pain reduction and their overall health through chiropractic treatment.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and decided to attend my grandfather’s alma mater, Logan College of Chiropractic, for my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. With both my undergraduate and doctoral studies, I focused on learning as much as I could about the movement of the human body and how dysfunction in this movement can lead to injuries. The knowledge that the brain controls all of the functions of the body through the nerves, and that normal function could be interfered with by misalignment of the spine, helped to form my passion for helping to clear this interference to better allow the body to work at healing itself.

My goal is not just to help each patient return to their pre-injury status, but also to maximize their quality of life. For optimal results I encourage my patients to combine regular adjustments with other elements of a healthy lifestyle, such as routine exercise and a well-balanced diet. In my free time I enjoy running, yoga, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Richard Asks some important questions of interest to Downtown Boston residents - Chiropractor Downtown Boston Dr. Richard Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Downtown Boston chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
